About Reflect Beam Laser Logic

Most laser puzzlers pick one idea and run it into the ground. This one splits into five modes, and they demand genuinely different thinking. Tunnel is about rotation — turning shapes so the beam threads a narrow passage. Labyrinth asks you to plot a safe route to the exit. Same Colors turns it into elimination, removing blocks of one colour to open a channel. Obstacles has you sliding elements out of the path entirely.

Over all of them sits a clock, and that is the design decision that gives the game its character. These would be contemplative puzzles without it. Timed, they become a test of reading a layout quickly and committing, because every adjustment redirects the beam and the consequences cascade.

How to play

Each level gives you a laser, an exit and a layout between them. Depending on the mode you rotate shapes, choose turnings, destroy coloured blocks, or shift elements up, down, left and right. Get the beam to the exit before time runs out, ideally in as few moves as you can manage.

Controls

  • Click to rotate a piece, and use the arrow keys or drag to shift movable elements around the grid.
  • There is no touch version, so a desktop or laptop with a mouse is what you need.

Tips

  • Trace the beam backwards from the exit. The final reflection is usually forced, and it tells you where everything else has to point.
  • In Same Colors, count the blocks of each colour before clearing any. Removing the wrong group can seal the route rather than open it.
  • Rotating a piece you have already set is usually cheaper than rebuilding the far end of the path.
