Casual games

Casual is the largest shelf here and the least strict. What the games share is a low cost of entry rather than a genre. Nothing needs a manual, and almost everything survives being abandoned halfway through.

It falls into two rough halves. The first is reflex and timing material — Magic Tiles 3 for rhythm, Capybara Jump for stacking, Aim Ninja when you genuinely have one minute. Runs last seconds and restart instantly.

The second half wants a longer sitting. Lemonade Tycoon Idle and Burger Empire build up over half an hour and keep earning while you are elsewhere. Car Out Jam is a proper thinking puzzle wearing casual clothes.

What you will not find is anything with a difficulty curve steep enough to need practice. Those are filed under arcade and action.
