About WebGameRush
WebGameRush is a small, hand-tended arcade of browser games. Every game here loads in a tab and starts in a couple of seconds — nothing to download, nothing to install, no account to create before you can play.
How we choose games
There are tens of thousands of HTML5 games licensed for web publishing, and most sites simply republish all of them. We do the opposite. The catalogue currently stands at 162 titles, and it stays that size because someone here has to sit down and play a game before it earns a page.
A game makes the list when it is genuinely playable in a browser, when it works on a phone as well as a laptop (or clearly says when it does not), and when it offers something the games already on the shelf do not. Games that are broken, ad-choked, or an obvious clone of a better game on the site get cut. When a game stops working, we remove it rather than leaving a dead page behind.
Who writes the guides
Every game page carries a write-up we produced ourselves: what the game actually is, how the first few minutes go, which controls you need, and what we learned that makes the next run better. We do not republish the descriptions supplied by game distributors, because that text is shared word-for-word with every other site carrying the same game and it tells you nothing you could not guess from the title.
Games we built
We write our own puzzles too. They run entirely in your browser, get a fresh board every day, and cost nothing — no account, no adverts inside the game itself. They are the reason this site exists in the first place.
- Pixel Trace — Number clues along the rows and columns describe a hidden picture. Deduce which squares are filled and the image appears.
- Glow Grid — A five-by-five lamp board where every tap flips a cell and its four neighbours. Light the whole grid to finish the day.
- Mini Clue Grid — A five-clue grid sized for a three-minute break — original prompts, keyboard entry, and no crossings to lean on.
- Link Lab — Twelve tiles conceal three hidden categories of four. Submit a set, take a strike if you are wrong, and clear the lab.
- Word Circuit — Six attempts to find the day's five-letter answer. Each guess reports which letters sit right, which are misplaced, and which are absent.
- Rush Sudoku — Our own nine-by-nine number puzzle with pencil notes, live mismatch counting, and an unlimited supply of practice boards.
How the site pays for itself
WebGameRush is free to play and funded by advertising. We keep ads out of the game frame itself, and we do not put anything behind a payment or a sign-up. Third-party games run in their own embedded frames and may set their own cookies — our Privacy Policy explains what that means for you.
