About Capybara Jump

The blocks do all the moving. They slide in from either side at a steady pace and your only job is to leap at the moment one is beneath you. Land near the centre and the combo continues; catch an edge and the capybara goes down with the tower.

It is a gentle-looking game with an unforgiving core, a fairly common trick but a well-handled one here. Clean landings chain together and set off a small visual flourish, which gives you an immediate read on whether your timing has started drifting. Worth noting that it expects a keyboard or mouse, so a laptop or desktop will serve you better than a handset.

How to play

Watch the incoming block, jump so you meet it in the middle rather than at the corner, and repeat as the stack climbs. Chained perfect landings build a combo. One badly judged jump ends the climb entirely.

Controls

  • A click or key press triggers the jump. The timing is the whole input.
  • There is no touch layout, so play this one at a computer rather than on a phone.

Tips

  • Aim for the centre of a block. Edge landings still count but leave you badly positioned for whatever comes next.
  • The blocks arrive on a consistent rhythm, so once you find it, watching your own character becomes more useful than watching them.
  • Protect the combo. A conservative jump that keeps the chain alive beats an ambitious one that breaks it.
