About Crowd Evolution!
The pleasure here is arithmetic made visible. One figure jogs through a city, you touch a cluster in your colour, they fall in behind, and now there are twelve, then forty, and the screen fills with a moving block that used to be a single person. Growth is instant feedback, which is why a round goes past quickly.
The catch is that the rule applies to everyone. Any crowd bigger than yours will swallow it on contact, so the middle of a run becomes a series of judgement calls about which groups you can take and which you have to loop around. A timer decides when the counting stops.
How to play
Build the largest crowd on the map before time expires. Pick up matching figures, run down the smaller crowds to absorb them, and give a wide berth to anything that outnumbers you.
Controls
- Mouse: hold the button and move left or right to swing the crowd’s direction.
- Touch: swipe the way you want to head.
Tips
- Early on, take every small pickup even if it means a wide detour. Late on, only detour for a group you can actually beat.
- Check a rival’s size rather than its position. Bigger is the only thing that matters at the moment of contact.
- Wide turns keep the tail of your crowd out of trouble. Sharp ones drag the stragglers through whatever you just avoided.
