About Fruit Match
The twist is physics. Choosing a fruit does not delete it. It detaches and falls, and on the way down it can catch on whatever else is piled in the field. Pick its twin and the pair merges once both reach the basket, which means a match you have already made can sit half-finished above your head, waiting for you to clear the obstruction under it.
That dependency chain is what gives the game its shape. Play the board from the bottom and everything above tumbles in sequence. Play it from the top and you build a traffic jam.
How to play
Select a fruit to release it, then select a second one of the same kind. Matching fruit combines automatically in the basket below. Anything stuck partway down needs the fruit beneath it removed before it can continue. Empty the field to finish, with fresh fruit dropping in as space opens.
Controls
- Click a fruit to detach it, then click its identical partner
- Taps behave the same on a touchscreen, and the landscape layout leaves room to watch the fall
Tips
- Start low. Clearing supports underneath triggers cascades that do several matches worth of work for you.
- If a fruit lodges on a ledge, look directly below it rather than hunting for a new pair.
- Narrow columns clog fastest, so keep at least one open channel to the basket.
