About Fury Tanks
Anyone who grew up on artillery games will recognise the shape of this one immediately. Two tanks, uneven ground between them, and a shell that has to clear whatever hill sits in the way. What Fury Tanks adds is a progression layer, so the tank you finish a session with is meaningfully sturdier than the one you started with.
The hold-and-release input handles both angle and power at once, which takes a few shells to internalise. Terrain varies between encounters, and a ridge that protected you last round can just as easily block your own return fire.
How to play
Line up on the enemy tank, hold to build power, and release. Shots that connect take a chunk out of the opposing armour, and misses hand the turn over. Between fights, winnings go into upgrading health, armour plating or cannon damage, and the score keeps climbing as long as you survive.
Controls
- Desktop: press and hold the left mouse button to charge, then release to fire
- Touch: hold a finger on the screen and lift it when the power gauge looks right
- Upgrade choices are made from the menu between engagements
Tips
- Bracket your shots. Land one long and one short, then split the difference on the third.
- Armour buys you turns, and turns are what let you find the range, so it is often the better early upgrade.
- Steep terrain rewards a near-vertical lob over a flat, fast shell.
