About Gold Miner Classic
The whole game is one pendulum. A claw on a rope sweeps back and forth above a cross-section of earth, and your only input is the moment you let it fall. Gold sits in nuggets of varying size, rock sits between them, and a diamond somewhere near the edge is worth more than most of the field put together.
Each level sets a cash target and a countdown. Heavy objects come up slowly, which is where the tension lives — one big rock can eat fifteen seconds and leave you short by a few coins. The pace is unhurried rather than frantic, which is why it holds up as something to play while half-listening to something else.
How to play
Watch the arc, release the claw so the line meets what you want, then wait while the winch hauls the catch back up. Every haul adds to your total. Reach the level’s target before the clock expires or you repeat the stage.
Controls
- One click drops the claw, and one tap does the same on a phone. Nothing else is mapped.
- The layout runs in portrait, so a handset held upright shows the entire dig at once.
Tips
- Small nuggets near the surface are the safest way to close a gap late in a level — they return in a second or two.
- Skip the largest rocks unless the target genuinely demands them. Reel-in time costs more than the payout usually returns.
- The claw accelerates through the middle of its swing and slows at the extremes, so shots at the far left and right are easier to place accurately.
