About Hill Racing - Egg drop!
Hill climb games usually let you attack the terrain. This one does not, because you are carrying an egg. Every crest you launch off and every landing you get wrong threatens the cargo, so the fastest line down a hill is frequently the wrong one.
That constraint turns a one-button game into something surprisingly deliberate. You have a single control, accelerate, and the entire skill is deciding when to release it. Coins scattered along the route pay for vehicle and level upgrades, which is what stops the loop from becoming repetitive once you have learned the first few slopes.
How to play
Accelerate to move, release to let the vehicle coast and settle. The aim is distance covered with the egg still aboard, and coins collected along the way. Upgrades bought between attempts change how the suspension behaves, which matters more than the extra speed they bring.
Controls
- Hold any key or the mouse button to apply throttle
- Release to cut power and allow the vehicle to level out
- This is a keyboard and mouse game, so a desktop or laptop is the right place for it
Tips
- Lift off before the top of a rise, not after it. The vehicle needs to be settling as it crests, not accelerating.
- Landing nose-down is usually recoverable. Landing tail-first is what unseats the egg.
- Skip coins that sit in awkward dips. The upgrade they contribute to is worth less than a finished run.
