About Water Sort
A rack of bottles, each holding four bands of mixed colour, and one restriction that governs everything: a pour only lands if the receiving bottle is empty or already topped by the same shade. The first levels resolve in a handful of taps, which is deliberate — you learn the rule by not being able to break it.
Later boards stop being generous. They add colours faster than they add spare bottles, and nothing warns you when a position has gone dead. There is no failure screen. You simply arrive at an arrangement where every bottle is capped by something nothing else will accept, and the only route out is a restart.
How to play
Tap a bottle to lift its topmost block of liquid, then tap a second bottle to pour it across. Matching stacks travel together. Clear the level by leaving every bottle holding one colour and nothing mixed. Progress unlocks new bottle designs as you go.
Controls
- Two taps per move — source bottle first, destination second. No dragging involved.
- On phones the rack sits in portrait and the bottles are spaced far enough apart for thumbs.
Tips
- Emptying a bottle fully is worth more than clearing a colour. A bottle holding one stray unit is barely a bottle at all.
- Count the visible units of a colour before committing. If seven purple units are on screen, one bottle can never take them.
- When two bottles both show the same top colour, pouring the smaller stack into the larger one almost always keeps more options open.
