About Human Leap Evolution

The premise is a running joke told through your character model. You begin as something clubbing its way out of prehistory, and every jump lands on a choice — a gate, a pickup, a fork — that either advances your evolution or sets it back. Get it right and the figure sheds fur for armour and eventually for something considerably more mechanised.

The interesting part is that the choices are not always obvious. A gate promising a bigger number sometimes costs you a tier, and the fights at the end of a stage are decided entirely by what you accumulated on the way there. It plays as a portrait-format runner with a puzzle sitting under it.

How to play

Tap or click to jump. Each leap sends your character forward along the track, and where you land determines which pickup you take. Gather enough of the right ones and you arrive at the stage’s confrontation strong enough to win it. Arrive under-evolved and the fight is short.

Controls

  • A single input runs the whole thing — left mouse click on a computer, a tap on a touchscreen.
  • It is built for a phone held upright, and the touch version is the more natural fit.

Tips

  • Read the gate before you jump, not after. Momentum carries you into the first thing you touch.
  • A smaller upgrade you can reach safely beats a large one that needs an awkward double leap.
  • If a fight goes badly, note which tier you finished on — the required level is consistent between attempts.
