None of these are simulations. Each takes one recognisable moment from a sport — a penalty, a free throw, a cue shot — and builds a short game around it.

Football is best represented. Football Legends 2026 is big-headed one-on-one and two-on-two with a special move per character, and World Cup Soccer Caps plays the whole sport with flicked counters on a tabletop, one pull-back per turn. Basketball Stars 2026 does the same trick for the court, and is meaner in two-player than the football ever gets.

Pool Master is the outlier, offering a hundred set-piece tables instead of open frames.

The fighting seats are deliberately silly. Drunken Fighters is a ragdoll comedy more than a contest, and Challenge Your Friends is a whole stack of two-button duels designed to settle arguments in under a minute. Most of this shelf takes a second player on the same keyboard, which is where it is at its best.
