About School simulator: My school

The chain the game runs on is stated plainly by its own design: more classrooms bring more pupils, more pupils bring more money, and more money buys more classrooms. What stops that being a straight line is everything else a school needs — toilets, a canteen, and enough staff to actually teach the pupils you have admitted.

You move around the grounds yourself rather than managing from a map, which gives the expansion a physical sense of scale. Neglect the supporting facilities and the growth stalls in a way that is easy to diagnose once you walk the corridors and see where everyone is standing.

How to play

Open classrooms, then build the facilities that keep the place functioning. Hire staff to cover the timetable and help pupils learn. Income scales with enrolment, and enrolment scales with capacity, so the loop is build, staff, fill, reinvest.

Controls

  • Move with WASD or the arrow keys; use the mouse for menus, hiring and construction.
  • Phones and tablets get an on-screen joystick for movement, with the same panels accessible by touch.

Tips

  • Add a canteen and toilets earlier than feels necessary — a classroom nobody can reach comfortably underperforms.
  • Hire ahead of enrolment rather than behind it; an understaffed room slows every pupil in it.
  • Walk the site occasionally. Congestion points are far more obvious from ground level than from the numbers.
