About Hospital Inc
Start with a couple of rooms and a trickle of patients, and the early minutes are mostly clicking to speed things along. The shape changes once you have unlocked enough departments that the building runs itself — at that point your job becomes deciding which bottleneck to spend on rather than nudging individual patients through the door.
Being an idle game, progress carries on while you are elsewhere, and the returning-to-a-full-till moment is a large part of the appeal. It suits being picked up for a couple of minutes at a time rather than played in long sittings.
How to play
Build treatment rooms, expand the hospital and upgrade what you already have so each patient is processed faster and pays more. Revenue funds the next room. The cycle repeats outwards until the site is full, and idle earnings accumulate between sessions to fund the larger purchases.
Controls
- One input does everything — click on a computer, tap on a phone or tablet.
- The touch build handles fine in landscape, and the interface buttons are large enough for thumbs.
Tips
- Upgrade an existing department to its next threshold before opening a new one; unfinished rooms drag down throughput everywhere.
- Spend down before you stop playing, so the offline earnings start from a faster baseline.
- Watch where patients queue. The room with the longest line is the one worth the next investment.
