Io games

Seven games, which makes this the smallest shelf on the site. They are grouped by format rather than genre. Each is a short arena match played against other people, with rounds that end and restart quickly, and none of them asks for an account before you can join one.

Territory capture is the commonest shape. PaperWar.io has you leaving your base to draw a loop around unclaimed ground, and you are exposed for as long as that loop stays open. ColorWars.io is a four-way card battle decided on a timer, where finishing in the top two is enough.

The rest are duels of one kind or another. Push.io is fought with a boomerang and won by knocking rivals off the platform rather than defeating them, and MergeDuel.io is a real-time merge race against a single opponent.
