Nobody has a health bar. The only thing that ends a round for you is leaving the platform, which means the boomerang in your hands is a shoving tool rather than a weapon. Hits push people; enough pushes in the right direction and someone is in the water.
That reframing changes how you read the arena. The middle is safe but crowded, the edges are where kills happen and where you die, and standing anywhere with water behind you is an invitation. Survival time determines your placing, so a cautious round that ends in second place is often worth more than an aggressive one that ends early. Trophies accumulate between rounds and go into boomerang upgrades.
How to play
Move, throw, and stay on the map. Your boomerang returns to you, so there is a window after each throw where you have nothing to defend with — attacking is a commitment. Rank climbs the longer you last, and falls early cost you standing.
Controls
- WASD or the mouse steers your character. Space or the left mouse button throws.
- On phones, a joystick handles movement with a dedicated attack button, and it plays well in landscape.
Tips
- Position yourself so the water is in front of you and solid ground is behind. Half of all falls are self-inflicted.
- Wait out the opening scramble near the centre; the first eliminations happen while people are still learning the edges.
- Throw at someone already being pushed by a third player. Two impacts in the same direction do what one cannot.
