About Last Ufo Defense
A run comes down to one craft and the upgrades you bolt onto it. The ship never gets a wingman, so each wave is answered with whatever you have already assembled, and choices arrive often enough that two players opening the same session can be flying very different machines by the fifth minute.
The upgrades talk to one another, which is where the depth hides. Pour everything into firepower and the ship melts the instant a swarm thickens enough to close in; starve firepower and nothing dies fast enough to matter. The look is tidy sci-fi and the tempo is measured, leaving room to weigh the next pick while the current wave still plays out.
How to play
Hold your ground, break the swarm, and take each upgrade as it surfaces. How long you stay alive is the whole scoreboard. Nothing carries over or resets between waves, so the ship you shape in the opening two minutes is largely the ship you fight the late waves with.
Controls
- On desktop the mouse does all of it, from steering the craft to working menus and picking upgrades.
- On a touchscreen, tap the on-screen prompts and controls.
- The screen is portrait, so a phone stood upright is the natural fit.
Tips
- Read each upgrade choice against your current weakness, not your strength. Doubling a lead you already hold wastes a pick the next wave will punish.
- Slot in a survivability upgrade before you are forced to. Defence pays back slowly but never stops, unlike a stack of pure damage.
- Note where each swarm enters from. The direction tends to repeat across a stretch, so you can turn to face it before it arrives.
