About Polygon Space

Your cannon does most of the shooting without you. Tap once and it locks onto something, tracking and firing while you watch. What you actually control is priority, which is a very different job to aiming.

Enemies are angular sci-fi shapes that come in from deep space, and they vary in speed and toughness rather than behaviour. Resources drop from what you destroy, and those go straight into weapon upgrades. The loop rewards patience over reflex, so it reads more like a lean tower defence wearing a shoot-em-up costume than an arcade blaster.

Missions run endlessly. There is no last wave, only the point where the incoming rate outpaces what your current weapons can delete.

How to play

Tap a target and the turret handles the rest, holding its lock until that enemy is gone. Tap something else to redirect it. Between and during missions, banked resources go into upgrading the cannon so that later waves stay clearable. Leaving the turret to its own devices works for a while, but choosing targets yourself is what keeps you ahead.

Controls

  • Desktop: click on an enemy to make it the current target
  • Touch: tap the shape you want destroyed next
  • The layout is portrait, which suits one-handed play on a phone

Tips

  • Prioritise the fastest shapes even when slower ones look more threatening. Speed decides what reaches you.
  • Let the auto-tracking mop up stragglers while you queue the next real threat.
  • Bank a little between waves rather than upgrading the instant you can afford something.
