About THE KULKA
Movement is a flap. That is the entire control scheme, borrowed openly from the endless-flyer school, and it sits underneath a bullet-heaven structure where your weapon fires on its own and grows through upgrades. The bullet-heaven lineage is obvious once your one meek projectile has become a screen-filling mess.
The first minute is quiet enough that it feels undercooked. By minute four you are threading a body through overlapping enemy patterns while your own fire obscures half of what you need to dodge. The tension between those two things is where the game lives.
How to play
Stay airborne, stay alive, and pick up the XP gems that enemies drop when your shots destroy them. Enough gems trigger a level-up and a choice of upgrade, and those choices compound into the build you finish the run with. There is no ending to reach, only a survival time to beat.
Controls
- Desktop: click the mouse to flap
- Touch: tap anywhere on the screen for the same effect
- Upgrade selection is a single click or tap on the card you want
Tips
- Short repeated flaps hold a steadier line than one hard press followed by a long fall.
- Take upgrades that widen your coverage early. Raw damage is worth less while enemies are still sparse.
- Drifting towards the screen edge cuts your escape options in half. Fight back towards the middle.
