About Max Crusher 2 - Destruction, Drift, and Racing!
Three activities share one car and one physics model here. You can wreck the thing deliberately, hold a long drift, or line up and race, and the game does not push you towards any of them. That makes it closer to a sandbox than a structured racer.
The control list gives away the intent. Alongside the driving keys there are separate bindings for left and right indicators, hazard lights and headlights, none of which affect scoring. They exist because someone wanted the car to feel like a car. There is also a flip key, which tells you how often you will end up on the roof.
How to play
Pick what you feel like doing. Damage modelling is the centrepiece, so collisions deform the car in ways that persist and change how it handles afterwards. Drifting rewards holding the handbrake through a corner rather than stabbing it, and the racing sections are straightforward sprints where keeping four wheels down matters more than raw pace.
Controls
- WASD drives, space is the handbrake
- R rights the car when it lands upside down, C changes camera, Tab opens the menu
- Q and E work the indicators, X the hazards, L the headlights
- Mobile players get an on-screen interface covering the same functions
Tips
- Tap R the instant you land badly. Waiting for the car to settle wastes time you cannot get back.
- Long drifts come from small steering corrections, not from holding the wheel over.
- Front-end damage changes the steering noticeably, so a heavily wrecked car will not race the same way.
