About Car Out Jam
A queue of passengers waits at the front of the level, each one a specific colour, and a scattering of cars sits behind. Click a car and it drives to a free bay. If the people at the head of the queue match it, they climb in; once it is full, it drives off and takes them with it.
The trap is that a car sent to a bay stays there until it fills. Send three cars nobody wants and your bays are gone, the queue stops moving, and the level is effectively over. Difficulty swings level to level, which suits it — a couple of easy boards, then one that needs real thought about ordering.
How to play
Read the front of the passenger queue, work out which colour is needed next, and send that car forward. Passengers board matching cars automatically and depart once full. Clear the entire queue to complete the level. Three boosters help when it tightens up — sorting the passengers, sorting the queue itself, or opening a VIP parking space.
Controls
- Left-click a car to send it to a bay; a tap does the same thing on a phone.
- The landscape layout keeps the queue and the car park on screen together.
Tips
- Only commit a car when you can see at least two passengers of its colour still waiting. A part-filled car occupies a bay indefinitely.
- Hold one bay empty as insurance. It is worth more than an extra car in play.
- Save the queue-sorting booster for the moment the colours interleave badly, not for the first mild jam.
