About Cute Craft Lab
A workshop, a bench of tools, and shelves of decoration to apply. This is a making game rather than a scoring one, built around assembling small decorative pieces step by step and choosing colours and trims along the way. Nothing hurries you.
What separates it from the dress-up games sitting nearby is that the thing being customised is an object rather than an outfit. The decisions are about shape and surface rather than clothing, which changes the kind of judgement involved. Everything runs on single taps, and the portrait layout means a phone held one-handed is enough.
How to play
Choose a project, work through its stages in the order the workshop presents them, then decorate the finished item with the colours, patterns and trims on offer. The result is yours to keep or redo.
Controls
- Mouse clicks select tools and place decorations.
- Taps do exactly the same on a phone or tablet.
- Portrait orientation fits a phone screen without turning the device.
Tips
- Decide the colour scheme before you start decorating, because retrofitting a palette means undoing work.
- Leave empty space; the crowded version of a craft almost always looks worse than the sparse one.
- Run the same project twice with different finishes to learn which tools genuinely change the outcome and which are cosmetic.
