About 99 Balls

Each cylinder carries a number, and that number is how many hits it needs before it disappears. Every turn the whole field advances one row towards the bottom line, and you get one shot — a stream of balls launched at whatever angle you choose, bouncing until they run out of momentum and return.

The interesting decision is never which cylinder to aim at. It is which wall to bounce off. A shot fired straight up clears one column; a shot angled into the side wall can ricochet through six cylinders on the way, and finding those lines is the entire skill. Stars collected along the way unlock alternative ball skins.

How to play

Drag backwards from the launcher to set your angle, using the guide line to preview the first bounce, then release to fire. Balls continue until they fall back to the base, and the field steps down. Survive by clearing cylinders faster than the field descends.

Controls

  • Click and pull back with the mouse on a computer; the same pull-and-release gesture works by touch.
  • A fast-forward control speeds up long turns once the screen gets crowded. Landscape orientation gives you the widest view of the field.

Tips

  • Aim into the narrow gap between two cylinders rather than at a face. Balls that get inside the field rattle around and rack up far more hits.
  • Shots near-horizontal into a side wall generate the longest bounce chains, but leave the top rows untouched — alternate them with steeper shots.
  • Prioritise whichever cylinder sits lowest, even if its number is small. Position matters more than value.
