About NinjaRoof
Around thirty seconds in, the rhythm clicks — land, build speed, launch, land again. Until then the character seems to fall short of everything, and the physics explain why. Momentum carries between jumps, so a leap taken from close to a standstill behaves nothing like one taken at full pace.
There is no level structure and no destination, only a score that climbs while you stay on the roofs. The art is stripped back far enough that the next gap is always readable, which matters a great deal when the difference between a good run and a bad one is whether you spotted the drop early enough to commit.
How to play
Keep moving across the rooftops and time each jump so the ninja clears both the gap and whatever is waiting on the far side. One miss ends the run. Your score is the distance covered, making every attempt a direct comparison with the last.
Controls
- A keyboard press handles the jump on desktop.
- A tap does the same on touch, and the game is comfortable on a phone held sideways.
Tips
- Jump late rather than early. Leaving the edge at the last possible moment adds distance that a premature leap throws away.
- Short roofs are the genuine hazard, not wide gaps. There is not enough run-up on them to rebuild speed.
- Once the pace picks up, stop watching your character and watch the edge of the screen instead.
