About Neon Dash: Cyber Run
One button, one type of obstacle, and a speed value that only ever increases. Everything in it exists to sharpen the same decision, taken over and over — jump now, or half a beat later.
Portals scattered along the course change the appearance of the world as you pass through them, which sounds purely cosmetic and is not quite. A fresh palette resets your sense of where the ground sits for a second or two, and that second is usually where a run ends. Restarts are immediate, which is the right call for a game where the average attempt lasts less than a minute.
How to play
Run forward, clear the red spikes, and keep going as the speed rises. A single collision ends the attempt and the next one begins straight away, so the loop favours repeated short tries over one long session.
Controls
- Space, a mouse click or a screen tap all jump. Use whichever suits the device.
- ESC or P pauses the run.
- Touch is fully supported and the jump target is the entire screen.
Tips
- Jump on spacing rather than on the sprite. At high speed the visual cue arrives fractionally too late to act on.
- Treat the moments just after a portal as the most dangerous part of a run and plan a simple, early jump through them.
- Pausing disrupts your sense of the rhythm, so use it between attempts rather than mid-run.
