About Ocean Pop
Bubble games normally lock their pieces to a grid. Here they float. Clusters bob, bump against one another and settle into new arrangements after each clear, which means the board you were planning around a moment ago is not quite the board in front of you now.
That single change alters how you play it. Reading two moves ahead matters less than spotting the pop that will let a large group drift together, and chains come about through movement as much as through matching. The setting is a bright underwater scene and the pace is gentle, but the physics stop it becoming automatic.
How to play
Clear the floating clusters by popping groups of matching bubbles. Every clear changes how the rest of the board hangs together, so the next opportunity is usually one you have created rather than one you spotted.
Controls
- Click any bubble that belongs to a matching group to pop it.
- The same tap works on a touchscreen, and the targets are large enough for a thumb.
Tips
- Pop from underneath a cluster so what remains settles together instead of scattering apart.
- Leave isolated single bubbles alone at first, since drift often carries them into a bigger group at no cost.
- If nothing obvious is available, wait a few seconds. The board keeps rearranging itself.
