About Slicer Duo
One key, one knife, and a rotation you are trying to land correctly. Press and the blade tumbles forward through whatever sits in front of it — fruit first, then other objects, then arrangements that require the knife to arrive at a particular angle rather than merely arrive.
The presentation leans on the sound of a clean cut, which is where the ASMR description comes from, and it does give the whole thing a steady, unhurried quality. Two players can share a keyboard, each on their own key, which converts a calm solo game into a race. It is keyboard-only, so both of you need to be at the same computer.
How to play
Work through the level-based stages by flipping the knife into whatever needs slicing and keeping it moving. Points build with each clean cut. A badly timed flip sends the blade somewhere it should not go and ends the stage there.
Controls
- Player 1 flips with the Up Arrow key.
- Player 2 flips with W.
- No touch input is available, which rules out phones and tablets.
Tips
- The knife carries on rotating after a cut, so plan two flips ahead rather than one.
- Objects needing a specific angle are easier if you press slightly earlier than instinct suggests, since the blade travels while it spins.
- In two-player sessions, watch only your own knife. Tracking both is the quickest way to lose the rhythm.
