About Tripeaks Solitaire Escapes

TriPeaks plays nothing like column solitaire. There are no foundations and no building. One card sits face up at the bottom of the screen, and you take any exposed card from the pyramid ranked exactly one above or one below it. Each card you take becomes the new base, so a strong turn is a chain rather than a move.

Running out of matches costs you a card from the draw pile, and that pile is finite. All of the tension lives there. This version wraps the idea in hundreds of designed levels with a summer beach theme, plus boosters to spend when a layout refuses to open up. Progress is measured level by level rather than endlessly.

How to play

Clear the whole tableau before the draw pile empties. Select any uncovered card that sits directly above or below the face-up card in rank; when nothing matches, turn over a new card from the deck and look again.

Controls

  • Click a card in the pyramid to take it onto the open pile.
  • Click the deck to turn a fresh base card.
  • Boosters sit beside the board and activate with a click.
  • Wide layouts and small card faces make a computer the easier option.

Tips

  • Look for the longest chain before grabbing the obvious card, because the order you take them decides whether a peak opens.
  • Check whether this version lets a King run round to an Ace before you plan a sequence around it.
  • Hold boosters for a layout where one buried card is blocking three others rather than spending them early.
